Game Day Activities:

Pre-Game Party at McNamara Center:
GameDayAll Gopher fans are invited to celebrate Gopher football by gathering before all home games at the McNamara Alumni Center. Starting three hours prior to kickoff, food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase. Activities include entertainment and college football games shown on jumbo screens. Tell your friends to meet at the MAC!

The Gopher Victory Walk (GVW) will take place on the Tribal Nations Plaza 2 hours prior to kick off.

The U of M Marching Band show will take place immediately following the GVW on the Tribal Nations Plaza

WCCO Radio Pre-Game Show with Mike Grimm presented by Learfield Sports will take place on the Tribal Nations Plaza one hour prior to every game.

Other family friendly and sponsor activities will be taking place around the stadium every game.

Commemorative Button (right)
Button New this year, be sure to arrive early to be one of the first 5,000 fans to enter the stadium to receive a commemorative button, the third in a series of seven for each home game this season.

On the Plaza
A 6 ft. Bronko Nagurski bobble head statue, as well as, the historic “Bronko Plow” will be displayed on the plaza for fans to view and take pictures with.

2 hours prior to kick off:
Nagurski Family members will be at end of Gopher Victory Walk (at the black gates) to welcome the team into the stadium.  All 6 of kids and 18 grandkids will be in attendance.

1 hour 15 minutes to kick off:
Selected family members to participate in media interviews and live interviews on WCCO Radio Pre-Game Show with Mike Grimm.

In-Game "Bronko: A Minnesotan Icon" Presentation:
“Bronko Nagusrski:  A Minnesota Icon” presentation with Nagurski  Family members to take place at halftime. Bronko will be honored and family members will be presented with the Proclamation of “Bronko Nagurski Day” in Minnesota from the Governor’s Office.

In-Game Bronko Promotions - Golden Moments/Bronko Fun Facts: 
Bronko will be the feature of our “Golden Moments” piece on the video board during the game. Various Bronko Fun Facts will be displayed on the video board throughout the game, including stories of the plow and how Bronko was discovered and how he ended up at the U of M.
